Improvement plans
A fair, documented path back on track. When someone isn't meeting expectations yet, the manager drafts a plan: the reason, what good looks like, the support on offer and dated milestones. HR approves it, the employee acknowledges it, and progress is logged until the plan closes.

Everything in Improvement plans.
A clear plan
The reason, what good looks like, the support offered, start and end dates, and up to 10 milestones.
HR approval
HR approves and starts the plan, or sends it back to the manager with a note.
Employee acknowledgement
The employee sees the plan once it starts and acknowledges it with a comment.
Milestones and progress log
Milestones are marked met or not met, with a progress log the manager, employee and HR all see.
Extend or close
Extend the plan with the original end date kept, or close it as successful or unsuccessful with the action taken.
Plan and outcome letters
Formal letters filled in from the plan, on your letterhead.
Three steps. That's it.
- 1
The manager drafts the plan.
- 2
HR approves; the employee acknowledges.
- 3
Track milestones and close with an outcome.
